Why your Donation Matters

Your funds will help the Lake County Juvenile Officers Association, LCJOA, provide quality education to the officers of Lake County and its members on current matters that affect the communities they serve.  


Donations will also assist local entities in need of monetary benefits.   

Local assistance to the Community

LCJOA has provided assistance to agencies and events such as below:

  • Lake County Child Advocacy Center - $250
  • Wauconda PD "Shop with a Cop" program - $250
  • Buffalo Grove PD "Shop with a Cop" program - $250
  • Trike Project - benefiting students in need - $1300.00
  • Lake County Young Marines; Drug Demand Reduction March
  •  "Run for Scott" 5K - Trike for Penelope
  • Lake County Youth Mock Trials
  • Illinois Prosecutor based Victim Assistance Association - $250
  • Lake County Children's Advocacy Friend's Committee - $1000

Your Donation helps Education

Members of the Lake County Juvenile Officers Association comprises of law enforcement, social services agencies, attorney's, Judges, probation officers, and advocates.  All who work with the juvenile justice system or the youth of Lake County.  


Your supports assist the Executive Board to provide 

bi-monthly trainings and an annual conference to its members.  Topics all address the current needs and trends of the youth and individuals working with youth in Lake County .
